Privacy Policy

Icefish To Do (“the app”) is a personal task manager developed by Icefish. We designed it to be private by default.

We do not collect your data

The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs.

Everything stays on your device

All of your data — tasks, lists, notes, due dates, reminders, and preferences — is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us or to any server. The app works fully offline and does not require an internet connection.

Permissions we use

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): to show task reminders you set.
• Alarms & reminders (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): to deliver reminders at the time you choose.
• Run at startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): to restore your scheduled reminders after the device restarts.

These permissions are used only to deliver the app’s reminder feature on your device. They are not used to collect information.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Data deletion

Because all data is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing tasks within the app or by uninstalling the app, which permanently removes all associated data.

This website

Everything above describes the Icefish To Do app. This website (todo.icefish.uk) is separate, and uses Microsoft Clarity to measure how many people visit and how the page is used, so we can improve it. Clarity may set cookies and record anonymised, aggregated usage. It loads only after you accept the cookie banner — if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. This concerns the website only and does not change how the app handles your data. See Microsoft’s privacy statement for details.
